The Champagne Room at 28N is a one-of-a-kind, 1,300-square-foot private event venue inspired by the elegance of the 1920s and elevated with modern luxury. Rich wood-paneled walls and ceilings, marble columns, custom chandeliers, and dramatic alabaster sconces create a warm, unforgettable atmosphere, while 14-foot ceilings and 12-foot arched windows overlooking downtown Pontiac give the space both scale and presence.
At its center is a fully equipped commercial bar, supported by a dedicated kitchen galley designed for seamless catering and service. The room also features custom lighting scenes and a full AV system, including a 110-inch display for presentations or branded content.
Guests are welcomed through stunning reception areas and have access to a private ADA restroom, with the option to incorporate the adjoining Oak Room, a 1920s-inspired lounge perfect for VIP use or private breakout space. Designed to comfortably host up to 95 guests, the Champagne Room delivers an elevated setting for events that are meant to stand out.

Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis with a signed agreement and Cash/Certified Funds deposit.
Peak dates, including weekends and holidays, tend to book quickly, so we recommend securing your date well in advance.

Rental pricing varies based on day of the week, duration, and event type.
Standard packages include a set rental window with access to the main event space, bar, and reception areas.
Optional add-ons may include extended hours, use of the Oak Room, and upgraded services. Custom quotes are available for larger or more specialized events.

The Champagne Room is designed to comfortably accommodate up to 95 guests.
The space is ideal for private celebrations, corporate events, cocktail receptions, and intimate gatherings. Layouts can be adjusted depending on the style of your event.

All spaces are equipped with full AV capabilities, including integrated audio, large-screen displays compatible with mobile devices and laptops, and customizable lighting scenes to match the tone of your event.

All reservations include access to the main event space, commercial bar, kitchen galley, and both reception areas.

Outside catering is permitted, and clients are welcome to bring in their preferred vendors, subject to approval.
All food and beverage service must be coordinated in advance. Alcohol service may require licensed bartenders and compliance with applicable laws.
We can also provide recommendations for trusted local vendors if needed.

All events are subject to a standard rental agreement. A security deposit is required and is refundable following the event, subject to the venue rules and rental agreement.
Events must adhere to agreed-upon start and end times, and all guests and vendors are expected to respect the space.
Additional guidelines regarding setup, cleanup, and conduct will be provided upon booking.
To preserve the quality, safety, and reputation of the Champagne Room, all events are expected to be conducted in a professional and respectful manner. This is a refined, upscale venue, and guest conduct should reflect that standard at all times.
The following policies apply to all reservations:
No smoking or drug use of any kind is permitted inside the building, including marijuana.
No standing, sitting, or dancing on the bar, furniture, or fixtures.
Music must remain at a reasonable level and may not exceed building or city noise limitations.
No disruptive, disorderly, or unsafe behavior will be tolerated. This includes excessive intoxication, damage to the space, or conduct that interferes with other tenants or guests in the building.
All events must adhere to the agreed-upon time window, including setup and teardown.
The client is responsible for the actions of all guests and vendors during the event.
Rules of Etiquette
Private event space only. No unauthorized use, including by 28N tenants
Use of the space is a privilege and may be revoked at any time at Management’s discretion
Maximum occupancy: 80 guests unless otherwise approved
General Conduct
Professional, respectful behavior required at all times
Event hosts are responsible for all guests and vendors
No disorderly, disruptive, or unsafe behavior
No excessive intoxication
No profanity, vulgar, or inappropriate conduct
No childish or reckless behavior
Use of Space
Access limited to approved event hours only
No moving, altering, or misusing furniture, décor, or equipment
No standing, sitting, or dancing on the bar or furnishings
All third-party items and décor must be removed immediately after the event
Prohibited Activities
No smoking, vaping, or drug use of any kind (including marijuana)
No alcohol outside the designated event space (including common areas)
No illegal activity, weapons, or hazardous materials
No behavior that may damage the space or disturb other occupants
Event Guidelines
All events must be pre-approved, prepaid, and scheduled
Occupancy limits must be strictly followed
Music must remain at a reasonable, permitted level
Event timing (including setup and teardown) must be adhered to
Hosts are responsible for cleanup and any damages
Monitoring & Enforcement
Space is audio and video monitored
Management may remove individuals or terminate events for non-compliance
Violations may result in immediate shutdown without refund and loss of future access
A security deposit is required for all bookings and will be refunded following the event, provided there is no damage, excessive cleaning, or violation of these policies. Management reserves the right to shut down any event that fails to comply with venue rules without refund.

*All events at the Champagne Room are subject to standard rental rates. While we are proud to support community initiatives, the venue is not made available on a complimentary basis. Verified 501(c)(3) organizations may be eligible for a 10% discount on the room rental fee only. All other fees, including the required security deposit, remain unchanged and are not waived.
**For each event, the venue will coordinate exclusively with one designated point of contact. This individual must be identified at the time of booking and will serve as the sole authorized decision-maker on behalf of the event. To avoid miscommunication and ensure efficient planning, the venue will not take direction from additional parties, including event planners, spouses, family members, or guests, unless expressly authorized by the designated contact.
